I am Agata Ageieva

Amsterdam based Product Designer with more than 6 years of experience. Motivated by creating user-centered delightful products, while keeping the balance between business objectives and tech.

When I am not detangling complex userflows I am writing about design on Medium, travel around the world, organize UX meetups and enjoy road cycling.

My Career
so far

In the trajectory of my design career I've been wearing many hats.
I got a degree in Industrial Design but never worked as one. Started as a graphic designer in 2013 in a small agency in Ukraine. 6 months later I moved to web design and a year later into UX and Product design.

As a Lead Designer at MyCujoo I was resposible for hiring the whole design team. Now I guide and mentor my team of 3 designers, stirring up design direction and sharing my expertise. Yet I still contirbute as any other designer in the organisation.

At Undeveloped I was the the only designer in the company so I was designing for many touchpoints, working closely with business, development and customer success.
In these two years I've led platform redesign. Along with devs we created design system, and I even created a brand identity for them.

ATON was the first place where I worked as a designer. It is a small creative agency based in Kharkiv, my home city in Ukraine. I was hired there as a graphic designer and ended up doing almost everything: from brand identities and illustrations to web design.
